Poverty in the Developing World

It might be shocking, but it’s true – ending poverty is not about giving more money. One of the most effective, empowering ways to end poverty is to teach the poor how to create wealth through the primary financial skills of saving and budgeting.

Become certified to install Savings Groups in the safety and stability of a local church. This training, based on the research-based tools coming out of the Chalmers Center has been implemented by ordinary Saddleback Church members in Rwanda, where the country has been transformed as hundreds of churches have started savings groups that have pulled the poor out of poverty.
